Jorge Lorenzo stormed to victory at the Gran Premio bwin de España last weekend, working his way up the field to take victory from Dani Pedrosa with a last-lap overtake that wowed the Jerez crowd.

One of the few faults highlighted in the wake of the race by the rider himself was his start, which saw him drop to fifth place from where he battled back to take the win.
